Dear Principal, Superintendent, and Teachers,

RCI Insurance Group has always been a big fan of teachers.  We believe teachers at all levels of education are important.  Whether elementary, middle school, or high school, teachers are helping to raise up and educate the next generation.  With the help of your students, we would like to honor those teachers that have had a positive impact on their lives.

This school year, RCI is starting a contest. It’s called “Why I Like My Teacher”.  It is open to all teachers/students in Rogers County.   We would like to hear from your students which teacher has encouraged them, challenged them, or influenced their lives in a positive way.

Each month, starting in September, (and continuing through April) students may submit an essay telling us who their favorite teacher is, and why they like them.  Students may e-mail, fax, mail, or drop off their entries at our office at 621 N Cherokee. All essays must be received in our office by the 25^th of each month.  Once RCI has received the entries, we will choose one teacher from Elementary, Middle School, and High School.

All three winners will be awarded a $50 Gift Card by the 10^th of the following month.  We will post the winners on our website, as well as our monthly newsletter.  In addition, we will also send a notice to all the local schools with the winners listed and the winning essays.

We should all celebrate our teachers and the great work they do for the up and coming generations.  Most teachers are unappreciated and are unrecognized for all they do. RCI simply wants to remind our students and community of the value in our teachers.  Help us recognize those that are great among us.
