“Hi I want to tell you a story about Mrs. Cooper”

Written By: Alex Harvey

My story about Mrs. Cooper. I like my second grade teacher Mrs. Cooper. She is really fun and she helps me when my letter are backwards on my papers. I like it when she picks me when I raise my hand. I like when she uses our spelling words in sentences. I think it is cool because we both like Mickey Mouse.  Her shelve of Mickey Mouse is cool too. She also has pictures of Mickey Mouse on the classroom walls. I like because she always says hi to me in the morning. When she tell me hi, it makes me feel good. She gives a Mickey Mouse stamps when I get my homework done. And I get a piece of candy when I make a 100 on my spelling test. My brother told me Mrs. Cooper was a cool teacher and he was right. She is cool to be my teacher. And I will not never ever forget her. And I hope she will be my teacher for years. I like her so much I want to go to school every day. And believe it or not, I have only been in school for 3 weeks and I like the whole second grade hall the best classroom even is Mrs. Cooper Classroom. And I love her. And I am going to lover her for the rest of the school year! So that is my essay.

“My Funky Teacher Mrs. Quinton:

Written By: Dakota Davis

Mrs. Quinton is my outstanding English teacher. She is always smiling and telling us funny stories. This funky chick loves eighties rock like Motley Crue, ACDC, and Black Sabbath.

This cool teacher has dark blonde hair and is 5’5. She has three children and a granddaughter. Her children’s names are Terri who is fifteen, Macy who is fourteen, Kelsey who is nineteen, and last but not least Caydence who is two. And she loves them all so much.

Christina Quinton has brown eyes, and is never seen without her makeup. This teacher can sniff out snicker doodles from a mile away and is rarely seen without a diet Dr. Pepper in her hands. Christina is a very fun, outgoing, fare, and truthful teacher.

She always says “Light off” which means to put up your journals, its lesson time.  Mrs. Quinton is always writing and I think she is really good at it. I think she should win this money because she is a really professional yet awesome teacher.

When she told my class about this essay, I was thinking to myself “I am going to win this”. But as I am sitting here typing this essay I know it’s not a piece of cake.

My teacher’s room is organized, sometimes. She always puts DOL’s on her boards, which are sentences that she copies down with incorrect spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Sometimes she copies some of the incorrect things down correctly because she can’t stand to see them incorrect.

There are posters on her walls that help me with some problems that go on with my life. She is the type of teacher that lets you sit by your friends, but if you talk it’s time to move. She is always boosting people’s self esteem and if you do good then she says great but if you fail she doesn’t look down at you she just pats you on your back and says try harder and make an A like I know you can.

So if you choose a teacher to win you should choose Mrs. Quinton. She is a very awesome teacher and she deserves this.
